Man of Steel

Taken from photoshoptrainingchannel.com

By now, you've all heard the mixed reviews for Man of Steel—and trust me, it's a mixed movie.  But before I criticize, let me just say I want you to see this movie for two reasons: it will lead to a Justice League movie and the action sequences are phenomenal.  That being said, there are major issues with this film that will topple its long-term, rememberable success.  For one, Man of Steel doesn't hold the nostalgic glamor that is Superman.  If you were expecting a Superman with all the traditional feel as suggested by the first trailers, you'd be disappointed.  Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Henry Cavill's stoic acting face (the script didn't really give him much to work with), and a plot so thick it's hard to stomach, made this film fall short of spectacular. Man of Steel tries to impact the audience with emotion but ends up  creating heavy scenes and stiff acting.  I was easily disenchanted because Man of Steel ended up being the movie audiences would normally expect, but not something  special as I'd hoped.
